Life Beyond the Classroom
UCR's three Residence Halls provide freshmen students with the most well-rounded college experience. Students also have the option of living in several cultural-themed and academic-based Living-Learning Communities. Participating in these communities offers a resident the opportunity to experience college life with a group of students who potentially share similar majors, similar cultures, or an interest in learning more about either topic. Living-Learning Communities include Honors Hall, Pan-African Hall, Gender-Inclusive Housing, Mundo Hall and other options.
Residences are staffed with 24/7 assistance and security and include study rooms, computer labs, social lounges, television rooms with cable access, secure bike storage, game rooms, laundry facilities, music practice rooms, food vending machines, convenience stores, plenty of recreational lawn space, housekeeping and dining services.
Healthy, affordable, dining options are available all over campus and inside residence halls. Flavors from around the world can be found at the many food trucks, restaurants, cafes and markets around campus. Check out the HUB Food Court for a convenient collection of some favorite restaurants.
